Petit Brabancon's 1st EP "Automata" will be going on sale on June 14, 2023 (Wed).
Details for the band's 1st EP "Automata" have also been revealed and pre-orders have opened today.

For the band's 1st EP "Automata", the song "mind-blow", a ritual-like instrumental track with a solemn atmosphere composed by yukihiro, and the EP's lead track "Kodou", a melodious song with a hint of new wave which was composed by Miya, will be included as unreleased new songs. The EP will also contain the song "Miserable", a song with a dramatic development in which Kyo's tragic screams intertwine with catchy riffs, that the band has been performing since its Japan tour last year in September and the song "surely", a song that was first revealed at Toyosu PIT and that can be said to showcase yukihiro at his best with its almost mechanically arranged electronic sounds which have been solidly polished to the extreme. From the band's image so far, the EP has become a collection of extremes from various aspects including glamourous, thunderous, geometrical, avant-garde, and exciting which have been "deepened". While the EP was previously announced to contain 5 tracks, an additional track has been included for a total of 6. The EP is also mastered by the Grammy Award-winning, world-class mastering engineer Ted Jensen (Sterling Sound).

Simultaneously revealed, the jacket artwork is designed by the Taiwanese illustrator and tattoo artist Gun. The artwork features a mysterious, oriental view of the world with traditional items as a theme, expressed through modern creative means. Expressing Automata = a mechanical doll, in a science fiction-like way, the EP captures the contrast between Petit Brabancon's inorganic, electronic sound image that swims in an industrial atmosphere and their humanity where blood flows in their veins and souls dwell within. In a different approach from their previous work, the band gives off a sense of danger with a stage-like psychedelic and decadent atmosphere.

With the 6-stop Japan concert tour "Petit Brabancon Tour 2023 'INDENTED BITE MARK'" just around the corner, being set to kick off at Zepp Divercity on July 12 (Wed), a new image of the fierce dog has finally emerged. Here's hoping it will come biting without hesitation.
